These terms apply to every organisation and user that creates an Attesta account or calls the Attesta API. By using the service you agree to them.
Attesta provides an API and dashboard for identity verification, credit intelligence and fraud screening, routing requests to licensed third-party identity-verification and credit-bureau partners. Sandbox environments return test data; live environments return real data. Both are billed per check, at the rates on your price list.
Live checks are deducted from your prepaid wallet at the price shown for the product and source at the time of the check. Successful checks are billable; checks that fail because a source is unavailable are not. Volume and enterprise pricing is set out in your order form.
We aim for high availability and publish status and incident history. Where a data source is degraded, checks may fail over to an alternative source according to your routing policy. Service levels for Scale customers are set out in their agreement.
Our Privacy Policy describes how personal data is handled. You remain the controller of the data you submit; Attesta processes it on your instructions.
Verification results are provided by third-party sources and are informational. Decisions you make using them are yours. To the extent permitted by law, Attesta's aggregate liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or put the service or data sources at risk. Unused wallet balance is refundable on request less any amounts owed.
We may update these terms and will give reasonable notice of material changes through the dashboard or by email.
